This has been a staple in our house for years, so I am going to jump right into the recipe.
Best prepared in a Vitamix or high powered blender
◦2 1/2 cups of organic spinach
◦1/2 to whole banana (depending on preference for sweetness and creaminess)
◦1 apple chopped, organic or local
◦fresh lemon juice from half squeezed lemon
◦2 tbsp of Chia seeds
◦1/4 cup of shredded coconut (or coconut flakes)
◦1-2 cups of coconut water (again depends on preference for creaminess, number of people serving)
Add ice if you prefer colder temp and grainier texture. Enjoy!
